REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS
SERVICES

In terms of the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act
and the approved SCM policy of Drakenstein municipality, the municipality
is required to advertise Request for Quotations (RFQs) for goods/services
in excess of R30 000 for at least seven days.

Please note that electronic quotations will not be accepted. Please view
the RFQ in which you are interested, print it out and submit at as per
instructions on the document. Any further information about the specific
RFQ, please contact the official whose name appear on the document.

In terms of Section 168 of the Local Government: Municipal Finance
Management Act, 2003 (Act 56 of 2003), National treasury has amended
the Preferential Procurement Regulations as published in the Government
Gazette no. R 725 on 10 August 2001. The amended Preferential Procurement Regulations was promulgated in Parliament on 8 June 2011.

The new Preferential Procurement regulations come into effect
on 7 December 2011.
