The informal inhabitants, currently residing in the following informal areas will form part of the upgrading to formal houses :

• Kingston Town (122 units)
  Cnr of Lantana & Colbe Street (84 units),  Siyalshala 1 & 2 (246 units) and Fairyland (259 units).
  It is anticipated that the construction of the civil works will commence during April 2009.
• Noodkamp, erf 2220, Wellington (33 units)
  The civil contractor commence on site on the 17th of June 2008.  It is anticipated that the civil works be completed before the end of September 2008 in order to start with the construction of the top structure.
• Drommedaris Emergency Housing Project (2300 units)
  Civil contractor  are currently busy with construction work.  It is anticipated that the site will be handover by the civil contractor during February 2009 in order to commence with the construction of the top structures.
