This year the Festival of Lights will be hosting the brand new Fashion @ Festival 2008. Talented young ladies and men from Paarl, Wellington, Saron and Gouda will model fashions by a local Couture Designer, Ali Adam.
Ali Adam was born in Ghana and studied in Ghana. After his studies he relocated to Johannesburg and from there he went to Copenhagen. Ali now has a studio in Paarl.
The aim of this event is to develop and capacitate the youth of Drakenstein by showcasing their talents and also to share skills and develop themselves.
Our featured artists include Jodi Williams, Brandon October, Loyiso Bala and Nasneem. We will also have many more local artists, stalls and entertainment for the whole family.
