This year we are stretching our imaginations and resources to make the celebration of our new release 'coffee and chocolate 'Pinotage '08 (the original) the most fun and most chocolaty experience ever.

At only a R10 increase on the ticket price, we have kept the format the same as last year – staging a really great party for friends, family and work colleagues

Western Cape partygoers will be able to sip the new release Pinotage from oak barrels at stations placed around the wine estate in Wellington.

Canapés that match with the Pinotage will be circulated; strawberries for dipping in fountains of chocolate will be aplenty; Mexican chilli hot chocolate or cocoa dusted cappuccinos will be on tap; slices of the gooiest of chocolate cakes will be on sale, and later on in the afternoon, if hunger still bites, the braais will be lit.

Fun and frivolous Pinotage challenges, with great prizes, will include:

• Test your aim with Paint-ball Art
• Take home a Grape Shot (photo) of yourself
  

And when you are not sipping and savouring or pitching your skills, express your cool moves to the sounds of:

• Gently Scar'd with the gorgeous Carice as lead. 
• Ama Ambush LIVE, a new Afro-sounding band that will be launched at Pinotage on Tap. 
• We are hosting James Stewart (remember the Usual) and band with well-known tracks as well as new compositions, and popular band plush.
  

As the months ahead unfold, some of our challenges may morph into more frivolity, the canape creating and tasting (no beetroot balls this year), will be happening and the Pinotage grapes in the tanks will continue to transform and mature for the celebration of the new Pinotage release. And we will continue to pay homage to the rain gods and look forward to welcoming you to Pinotage on Tap 2008.
