Drakenstein Municipality is asking residents in the eastern part of Paarl to please use the Paarl Transfer Station or Wellington Landfill Site to dispose of waste while the Municipality replace the mini drop-off skips in this area.
The Municipality's short-term mini skip pilot project in this area and contract with our current service provider came to an end yesterday. These mini skips are therefore no longer available for drop-offs.
As this mini skip pilot project proved to be successful and effective, the Municipality will in the new year advertise a new contract to replace the current skips.
We thank our residents for their co-operation. Together we can keep Drakenstein clean, and ensure a healthy environment for our community and children.
