Press Release
25 March 2021
Drakenstein Municipality’s General Valuation Roll for the financial years 2021 to 2025 is open for public inspection and objections until 6 April 2021. The valuation process is conducted every five years by an independent valuer appointed through a competitive bidding process.
The valuer conducts an independent general valuation and prepares the valuation roll. A valuation roll takes effect from the start of the financial year following the completion of the public inspection period required by section 49 of the Municipal Property Rates Act. It consists of property information of all rate-able properties within the boundaries of a municipality.
