The InvestSA One Stop Shop initiative is geared towards providing investors with services to reduce government red tape when establishing a business. It is part of the government’s drive to become investor-friendly by improving the b​usiness environment, lowering the cost of doing business, and making the process easier.

#DrakensteinConnects online series starts with talk on reigniting local economy

Drakenstein Municipality’s #DrakensteinConnects online series, held in collaboration with Wesgro, kicked off on 20 October 2020, with a conversation on reigniting Drakenstein’s economy during and after the COVID-19 lockdown.

Focusing on how municipalities can improve their investment readiness as a destination of choice, the first webinar looked at the private sector’s expectations of local government when dealing with a global pandemic and a hard economic lockdown, as well as an SMME’s experience of surviving the lockdown restrictions.

The main speakers were:

• Katlego Ngwane – Chief Executive Officer, Katika Consulting
