EID MESSAGE BY EXECUTIVE MAYOR CONRAD POOLE
Today marks a very important day on the religious calendar of all followers of Islam. Eid al-Fitr (“the feast of breaking the fast”) marks the end of Ramadan, a month-long period of fasting for Muslims.
The charitable aspect of the day is what I admire and like about Ramadan. The way they share their wealth and spread joy is highly commendable.
