Can you feel it?! Interschools and derby fever is here! The excitement of the various Drakenstein schools’ sports teams competing against one another is contagious.
The interschools and derbies taking place throughout Drakenstein not only bring local sporting communities and families together to celebrate this rich tradition, but they also attract thousands of visitors from across South Africa.
Showcasing our local, budding sporting talent, these epic clashes are also an opportunity for our future leaders to learn valuable skills which they can use on the sports field and in life. Sport unites communities, and produces a special kind of camaraderie on and off the field.
