On 21 March, we celebrate Human Rights Day – a day on which we remember the sacrifices made by those who died for a cause they believed in.
Today, some of us take so many of our basic human rights for granted. Therefore, I appeal to you: let us remember those who paid the ultimate price for a just and free South Africa and let us continue to fight for the rights of those we are marginalised.
