“As we approach the joyous occasion of Eid al-Adha, I extend my warmest greetings and heartfelt wishes to all those celebrating this sacred festival.
On behalf of Drakenstein Municipality, I acknowledge the significance of this special day in the spirit of unity and gratitude.
“Also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, we know this is a time of deep reflection, prayer, and generosity.
“Eid al-Adha serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of selflessness and charity. It calls upon our community to not only remember those less fortunate but to actively support and uplift them. As families and friends gather, let us remember to reach out to those in need, offering a helping hand and sharing the blessings bestowed upon us.
