“As Executive Mayor of Drakenstein Municipality, I am delighted to welcome the Vitality Netball World Cup 2023 Trophy Tour to Drakenstein. As part of its Western Cape leg, the Trophy Tour will make a stop at Paarl on Thursday afternoon, 6 July 2023. Anroux Marais, Western Cape Minister of Cultural Affairs and Sport, as well as several Drakenstein Municipality dignitaries will attend the trophy handover ceremony at the Paarl East SPAR.
“The Vitality Netball World Cup is a prestigious international tournament, and having the trophy visit our area provides an exciting opportunity for the local community to engage with the sport and celebrate its achievements.
