How to pay your traffic fine

5 Easy ways to pay your traffic fines 🚦​

Paying your traffic fines does not have be a headache. There are various options available – see our quick guide below.

  1. Pay at your bank or online – it's quick and simple. You can pay via an electronic funds transfer (EFT) at your bank. Or you can use internet banking or cellphone banking from the comfort of your home. The banking details will be printed on your fine. Email proof of payment to: Enneline.Afrika@drakenstein.gov.za or Ananda@drakenstein.gov.za.
  2. Head to the Municipal Court located at 60 Breda Street, Paarl: There are card facilities available for you to pay your fine, and someone to assist you should you need guidance.
  3. Pay online via EasyPay: Visit www.easypay.co.za to settle your fine. Please note that you will need to register for this service first.
  4. Pay via EasyPay outlets at selected shops: You can pay at selected Lewis, Pick n Pay, Boxer, Shoprite, Checkers and Checkers Hyper stores.
  5. Look out for the Municipality's roadblock bus circulating during the year. You can pay your fine there as well.
     

Note: If you have received your fine directly from a traffic officer (in person), you cannot use EasyPay, but all the other payment options are still available to you.

 Municipal Court opening hours:​

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00 till 15:45
  • Friday and month-end: 8:00 till 14:30
  • Enquiries are welcome from Monday to Friday until the closing of the office.​
