MMC Avron Appollis visits Wellington crime hotspots

​Councillor Avron Appollis, Drakenstein Municipality's Mayoral Committee Member for Public Safety, visited crime hotspots in Wellington on Friday with some members of his team.

The Spruit River, where daily patrols will come into effect on Monday, was also visited.

MMC Appollis was accompanied by amongst others Saul Jacobs, Manager: Municipal Law Enforcement and Security, and Jeron Roux, the recently introduced Metal and Cable Theft Task Team coordinator.​
